Default Pace Setter Header question

hi all, just wanted to check and see if anyone knew. I have a 95 trans am that I am wanting headers on. I can get Pace Setter LTs in black paint for lesd than 300 shipped like these. http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1813

my question is, how much of a difference would ceramic coated headers make?

If you can afford it i suggest getting coated. It keeps under hood temps down and can extend the life of the headers

they'll look better for longer.

Your headers will look rusted in no time.

As far as temps go, I assume it's decently cooler, but Pacesetters coating is known to be on the cheaper side.

what if I were to get the painted versions and go with getting jet hot to coat them? would that be a better coating?

The black painted version of the pacesetter headers is just there to keep the headers from rusting. If you were to put them on the black coating would burn off in around 15 mins or so. I would definatly go with ceramic coated headers. If you lack the funds to do this get the black version and strip off all the black paint and get some ceramic paint from autozone and paint them yourself. If you dont do this your headers life will be cut in half. Not to mention how ugly they will look all rusted up.

I've got LPP's on my car and they fit about the same as the Pacesetters. I would go with the LPP's though, you can't go wrong with stainless! I plan on getting another set with their True Duals for my drag car.
