Default It's Nearly Install Time!

Before anyone gets excited, I'm not installing a turbo kit or any other kind of forced induction, don't quite have the wallet for that yet.

I've asked questions on this forum a bunch in relation to my 93 Z28 I bought a few months back. It was previously owned by some stereo guy and I pulled about 50lbs of wiring out of the car. I also got a bunch of interior panels from another member here since mine were all cut up or broken due to all the electronics that were in the car. Slowly I'm trying to save it.

My lingering issue has been my fuel mileage and again thanks to members here and elsewhere I think I've figured the problem. I'm 99% sure I have bad oxygen sensors and a leak prior to them causing the computer to think I'm running lean.

So here's where I'm at finally, I've got a set of ceramic coated Pacesetter long tubes, new IAC valve, EGR and AIR delete, oxygen sensors for a 95 Z28, Fel-pro gaskets, Sage 8 header bolts, new plugs and wires, fuel filter, oil and filter change, and clean the KN filter. Now I'm waiting on my next paycheck so I can order the Y-pipe, oxygen sensor wiring harnesses, and a tune from Solomon at LT1pcmtunning. I'm also going to go ahead with a Seafoam treatment as described on this site before I do any of the parts replacement so I'm starting with as clean a slate as I can.

My one last question before I jump into all this work is should I pull the intake manifold while I'm dedicating a good two days to working on the car? It doesn't leak right now, although I don't know if it was ever done, plus it would make doing the EGR plates easier.

You can remove the intake. I didn't find it too bad to put the plates on with it still in the car

I think I'm going to go ahead and order the intake gaskets and plan on pulling it, but before I actually remove it I'll give it a final lookover for any leaks, if it's still all sealed
Up then I'll leave I alone.
Pics will be coming when I actually begin the work don't worry.
