I had a catalog from TPIS years ago and they had some spark plugs that were like $16 a pop that were had some exotic metal in it but I don't remember what it was.
I think these E3's will go good w/ a tornado or if you really want to go all out throw on an electric supercharger and add some Zmax,!

what plugs would you like compared, E3 vs ??? (I want the E3's so there deff. one)
Now just time to get the motor in the car
Do E3's vs tr55's vs stock! Lets see some dyno numbers!

The idea behind E3's is that they more completely burn the fuel in the combustion chamber because the diamond head allows the combustion process to spread directly out from the spark to the entire chamber.

The type of metal used has little to do with the power of the spark. Platinum or Iridium coated plugs just have a longer life because those hard metals don't erode as quickly.

Any new spark plugs are going to be better than old spark plugs. E3's probably help with emissions if anything.

normal (style) spark plug has one spot where it fires. these type have several different points the can fire or spark. Sounds like inconsistancy to me. these will not create more horsepower. i have never been a fam of th bosch's nor these. keep it simple

Random OT Fun Fact:

A Top Fuel dragster has two spark plugs per cylinder, almost 90 amps of current, and completely erodes the electrodes of its plugs in the first half of a run - for the second half of the 1/4 the engine is just dieseling .

We now return to your regularly scheduled old thread revival.

The only time you will see a HP gain is if you are using too cold of a plug for your setup, I have done this testing on a Dyno, We had a Nitrous setup for a 300 shot so we were using like 3-4 step colder plug, Did a NA pull with those plugs then put in the proper heat range for a NA motor, Picked up HP across the board............
