Default how to pick the rite stall ?

How do you decide what the rite stall 4 your car is I have 94 firebird with lt4 head cam n intake running 8lbs of boost I want tokeep it streetable but yet put down good numbers at the track I have full built tranny and 410 gears any help I was thinkn like 2800 but others are telln me to go bigger like 3600 any help much appreciated

These cars have lock up converters so street wise it is fine no matter what you use once you reach lock up. The question is have you had a big stall in an auto on the street before? Go to youtube, I have seen a lot of vids there from guys running 3200, 3600, and even a 4000 showing how the stall is to drive on the street both normal driving and getting on it. Then you pick a stall that helps put you in your power band. If you have a dyno sheet on that engine in the car it will really help pin point what stall.

anything less than 3600 and you will regret it!

You really need to discuss this with the folks you're buying the stall converter from...
