Default Delteq and MSD 4 DIS

Hi,

Just bought a used MSD 4 DIS for my Delteq for rev limiting. Question is, how the heck do I set this up? Do I need to purchase anything else to get it to run correctly? Anyone have a good wiring schematic? I havnt been able to find much online. Thanks guys,

-Jeff

You did get the coil pack interface brakets right? You will need 4 of these and they will mount inbetween the coil and coil base/braket. Needs these to control the spark delivered by the coils.

From what I understand yes. Do a seach and you'll find some information on the internet. Why are you running the MSD, are you looking for the ability to retard/advance the timing for nitrous or boost?

Just looking for a rev limiter so I can burn out at the track. I wished it was easier with the delteq to incorporate a rev limiter. I like the way its set up now.

The Delteq and the MSD DIS4 are the way to go. I have the soft touch set at 6100 rpm's. My two step is set for 5200 rpm's (still working on the relay latch circuit), and the nitrous retard is set for 6 degrees to pull out when the system is armed. I can honestly say that the MSD DIS4 adds a crisper throttle response than the Delteq adds over stock. It also provides you with a tach output if you use a pair of there tach adaptors. All in all it has been a real benefit to my Delteq setup.
