New track times. Last night our local track 1/8 mile opened up and was able to make some good passes last year my best time was a 9.17 with 2.3 60 foot that was with a bone stock auto lt1 with street tires over the winter I put a 3500 stall and some Mickey thompson's on my zr1's first past of the night it spun real bad second past it hooked pretty good and ran a 8.67 @ 76 with a 1.9 60 foot a couple passes later it ran the best time of the night leavin at about 2500 and dead hooking it ran a 8.59@ 77 mph with a 1.77 60 foot I was real pleased with time for jus the few mods I have done. pretty good times for just a convertor. that should be mid to low 13's in the 1/4 mile. the headers are a great next mod, definetly go with long tubes. what gear are you going with?
Sounds like a good choice. Have you checked out the ebay headers? Also my buddy runs a stock 6spd rear 3.42 in his a4 it works pretty good and has held up good too. His car went some 7.80s i think with full boltons setup this way.
