Default worn out clutch forK

has anyone worn one out or bent a clutch for i beleive mine is worn out there.

Seen them break but never bend. Post 4 pics from all sides.

mine broke in half at the pivot point just a month ago actually.

the pads were worn they both were sitting at .41 i built them up with some welding and ground them down to .62. see if it works ill let u know

well if anyone cares the trick to adding some metal by building up the fork pads with weld and the grinding them round with the numbers in the above post worked and extremely well and the car shifts like new.

That's the same thing my tranny guy did to get me by untill I got a new one from gm

yea i couldnt justify spending the money when i had a welder and a dremel sitting right next to me. the welds should be alot harder then the cast so it should last. i hope.

Default grinding

Did the worn pads lead to a grinding sound when the clutch was kicked in to the floor all the way?

The hell are you all doing to your clutch forks? Mine is factory original and looks as good as new?

I have seen aftermarket clutches cause this problem, you can grind a 1-16"or .060 off of the T-Bolt to correct the problem. this is what I did and it's been working for 2 years.

I bought one maybe two years ago? I just can't remember where. I believe it was from the dealer as well.
