msd boost ignition I have 95 impala ss with a paxton sn 2000 supercharger. It has an msd adjustable timing control ignition for boost. Their is a little dial in the car from 0-3. what should i set it on. the car is sluggish and my guess is it does not have enough timing but i dont want to mess with it and potentially blow the motor by going to far. thanks for the help guys
Timing What is your present setup? Who tuned it? What timing curve is in there? Do you have a 2 bar? Speed density? Maf tune?
Too many variables to give an answer like 2 degrees. I run a rearmont have had SD and MAF and the diference can be extreme. When I turn on meth I can run 30 degrees with 16 psi with iron heads. I tune my own so I have tried mny different timing and fuel setups.

no its nothing like that. Its a kit from paxton that comes with its own fuel and engine management system. The iginition comes with the kit and is adjustable. The numbers do not reflect actual timing degrees. the engine has an extra three injectors that spray directly into the intake to accomadate the extra air from the blower and runs off the factory tune with the timing being adjustable inside the car. just not sure what to set the dial at.
