just a quick crappy vid of my nova idleing, with the new 383 LT1 carbureted stroker...

still need some carb tuning badly but hey, it runs... and i almost dropped the camera at the end.

NIce lookn good and sounds great. What cam did you go with, that bad boy is pretty damn lopey or atleast it sounds like it being in the garage and all.

comp cams xfi 292!! and its idles high right now cuz it needs a looser converter, when i put her in gear she drops down to like 500rpm an starts counting cylinders lol...its got a 3k in it but it needs like a 3200-3500. but when idle is set around 850-900rpm it lopes very hard lol and the carb needs tuning bad, puff out a little white smoke and cracks up when i try to get on it. but its overal finished for the most part

Yea buddy it sounds awesome and I hope the tune will make it spot on and drive like a bad out of hell.

umm... idk about that, still got to have my rearend worked over, and i dont know exactly how the shootout goes?

would my nova even be allowed to race? it is LTX powered....

Ive been working on a few Fox bodies and its ridiculous how unfair it is to work on a F-bod. Working on your car must be a breeze!

the headers were a bitch because of the steering box, but its still easier than a 4th gen fbod lol

it is "GM code 26 Mulsanne Blue" its a bright blue metallic pretty much
