Default Deleting EGR/AIR

When you remove all the A.I.R. and EGR crap, do you have to have your computer reprogrammed to deal with it? I was thinking of doing it next weekend, but no one in my area can reprogram the computer (I live on an island), and with race season starting next month, I don't have the time to send the computer off to someone!

Car should run fine and cause no problems, but will throw a code. So yes, you would want to get that tuned out, but wouldnt have to be done right away. . . . .

as they said your SES light will come on but no harm to the car. Get it tuned out whenever you have time, before your next inspection haha.

It may throw codes, mine did when I deleted them on my '95. Runs just fine tho...any pcm programmer/tuner can eliminate them from your tune however.

Fuel line relocation from Speedinc, and clear coat/repaint the engine bay...looks damn sharp and adds a lot to the underhood of the car...also clean the hell out of the motor when it's out...you could also consider a tubular K-member for reduced weight and extra room...

What's the fuel line relocation??

I'm going to paint it, but the car is being painted satin black, so I don't know if I should do the engine bay the same colour, or do it in gloss, because the car will be repainted again while I'm at school next year (autobody course).

^^fuel line reloco adds a nice touch. you could do the wire relocation also. it gets rid of all the wires going over the passenger side fender and runs it underneath. do a search. it makes for a MUCH cleaner looking engine compartment.

I was thinking about doing the wire relocation, but I don't have the plastic inner fender wells anymore, so it probably wouldnt be a good idea.

akm cables is where i got mine, and i got my tune with Ion of madz28.com. He sends you instructions and everything so you wont screw anything up. its really nice to have, not to mention you can get a program like datamaster as well. Scans codes, does all kinds of stuff.
