93 to 94 intake question

93 to 94 intake question Do you guys know what the changes were from 93 to 94 with the intake or wiring harness? Reason I ask is because I am in the process of putting a 93 383 into my 94 and plugs do not match up and I wanna make sure I'm not just doing something wrong...

By the way what plugs are you talking about?
93 is SD and uses a chip
94 is MAF and uses a PCM
I suggest running your 383 like its a 94 if your Z is 94. Since all the wiring will be there for a 94 setup, and the 94 PCM is better IMO for tuning.

Is it worth buying a new intake (like the edlebrock) or should I just put the one from my 94 on the 93 motor? 
Just put the one from the 94 on. At this point there is as much data suggesting the Edelbrock is worth a slight LOSS as there is data to suggest a slight gain. Most definitely NOT worth oper $400
