differences in 94 and 95 lt1...

Default differences in 94 and 95 lt1...

I believe im gona take a different direction with my 95 z. i have a 94 lt1 out of a trans am that i could swap into the car....my only question would be whats the diff on the sensors if any..im not worried about the cam being diff as i would be adding a cam to the engine....but is the crank sesor diff? anyone have any experince on this?

Depends on 94, is it an early or late one, Early has Oil sending unit on bottom but its really no big deal. And what opti are you going to use the 94 or 95 ? Timing cover is different, pin is longer in cam for 95. Not a lot of differences, you can use almost everything

i would like to use the 94 opti thats on it for now...is the connector the same? i would assume the only difference in that would be vented and non vented....and as u said the pin on the cam.
and i believe its a late 94...ill have to go out and look in at the car but i think the oil sending unit is up top.
