i proably already know the answer but ate some bearigs in my lt1. i have less than a hour on it , what can i due to clean the lifters cam and oil pan to get all the metal out. should i just buy another set of lifters. there was bearing chips in the valley all the way up to the rockers. im gonna get a new short block but funds are very low and i need to cut some corners.

I'd be Leary, however if the rollers don't look scarred you can disassemble the lifters and clean them internally. I would do them individually in a clean plastic pan with parts wash solvent, kerosene, etc.
