Red face Need help??

Read a bunch of threads on here and lt1 engine no how to do it jus need to know what part number for plug wires to do the over the valve cover mod. I work at autozone and I jus bought the Lt1 msd wires and after buying them I saw where headers will burn the wires. Anybody running the wires like factory with headers and not having problems or I'd the mod the only way to go any help will be appreciated.

im running my wires in the factory spot with long tubes. So far its been good, but i haven't had it out much since i did the LT install. I just used a few zip ties where they were needed.

Stock routing FTW. OTVC wires are gawdy and make cleaning your valve covers a PITA.

JMHO.

I like the stock routing but the otvc is easy to change but if I can get by with the stock way then I'm doin that cause I already got the wires plus looks alot cleaner.

Thats what they make zip ties for. I run mine near the block and use zip ties to bunch them and keep them off the long tubes. 8mm wires around the PS pump are a bit of a PIA but will work. anthing bigger wont fit in the factory clip. 8mm is more than enough for a stock engine and ignition system. Hell I use them on my 383.

I run standard length wires and I have LTs and I have no problems....once you get all of them on get under the car and you can get a really good look at all the wires...
