Parking brake binding

Parking brake binding What could cause this? Usually pulls up nice and smooth, then all of sudden I park in the driveway (kid of a steep hill) and it is real hard to pull up. I can only pull it up half as much as usual. Then it keeps popping, releasing and dropping back down. It will not stay engaged now and worked perfectly fine about 10 minutes earlier.

I looked at it a little more today, and only the passenger side is engaging. After I release the parking brake it does not completely disengage. I can make it fully disengage by hand by crawling under the back side and manually pulling it. Is it possible I have a caliper thats sticking? I know this doesnt explain why the other side is not working, just wonder if a sticking caliper is part of my problem?
Hey i'm sorry I can't help but I want to bump this thread back up because my camaro does the same exact thing. My car used to be an auto and I never used it but I know it worked.
Last year I did a T56 swap and it started to give me problems like yours, it would be completely normal then next time I went to park it it would feel like it was binding up, only pull up about half way and not have enough power to hold the car on an incline.
It Bothers me when I have to leave it in gear because I kept my remote starter on it so I bypassed the neutral safety switch so I'm scared i night accidently hit the button in my pocket and start the car in gear.
Did you have another person to pull and release the e-brake while you looked at the calipers? If your caliper is sticking I think that could very likely be a problem I need to check that out on mine. I actually have an extra set of calipers that came with the rear end I bought I might just have to switch one out.
