Tunercat vs LTedit
I have 2 friends who each one had a 95 LT1s M6 both of them.
One have lot of mods in hes car but i know they need tuning.
It is a 95 TA M6
355 ci 6" rods 11.5 cmp.
cc306 cam 112 ls 30psi inj.
ported heads,ported intake,58mm tb
Hooker LT true dual exh.
spect clutch III
4.10
and HPP3 tuning
I know we can find a lot of HP in the tuning but i need your opinions on wish the best way to program an obd1 pcm.
If i buy the tuner cat it include the interface cable?
Thanks
For a beginning tuner Tuner Cat is definately the way to go.
Neither program will include the cable which can be bought from AKM.
Trust me there are a lot of good places on the web for how to's.
I tuned my Impala SS my self and it runs OK.....heheheh

I ride the fence on LT1Edit vs. Tunercat. TC has made some nice changes lately (integrated the programmer in to the main program), but there are a couple of quirks that need fixing (laptop at 800x600 doesn't look too good). LT1Edit has been the old reliable workhorse for me, though. It feels like that good old pair of blue jeans.
Both work well. If you're tuning multiple cars, the money may play a bigger factor...-Andrew
