Default LS1 Center Console

I'm thinking about putting in the LS1 Center Console since my LT1 one is pretty much done..have any of you guys done it?

Mine is a 6spd car so I'll be putting in that one, anyone have any pics they mind attaching?
(I cant see photobucket pics..they are blocked here..)

Thanks.

Search don't do **** when all the pics are photobucket..you know they don't work out here..

I know there is prob going to be like a 2" or 3" gap there..I'm going to make a really nice panel there under the LT1 Radio Bezel.

I have one, Merv. Just keep in mind it's the worst possible angle and most of those random wires are now gone or hidden.

I had an idea for a piece bent to go around the sides and back up to fill the space under the radio. There is a bracket in there where the tape holder bolts to that would work.

I can see about getting a picture from the drivers' view and from outside the window if you'd like. It's not so bad from those perspectives.

I think the gap is only for Camaro dashes so you always have the option of putting a TA dash along with the center console.

Damn good idea there. I like the TA dash. I'm not a fan of the '97+ Camaro dash. The vents are all bulgy.

6LE should make a piece that fills that gap like some sort of tray piece or a cd tray

true, but I like the ashtray switch set ups better, stealthier. I don't think cops like seeing all sorts of aftermarket switches in a car

I've only sold like 5 TOTAL product pieces to LT1 cars as it is, doubt there's a huge market solely for Camaro guys who want the LS1 console, lol!

I would just hand a 3 gauge pod under there myself...

Here you go, Merv. Got those alternate shots.

edit: Don't mind that blanket on the dash. As you can see it was very bright at 2pm. Ah, the nice 70+ weather!
