I have an ignition module with the numbers 409 3J14 and it is stamped GM but it also says Singapore on the back??? Is this a knock off? There are no other numbers on this thing? How can I tell if it is correct for a 1994 Formula? Or is there anyway to cross that number on the front?

 

An old pic of my stock one shows 409 4K24 on it, so I would guess it is the stock GM part. I don't know the significance of the numbers, though.
