best 1/4 mile times are 12.42 @ 107mph @ 3250lbs raceweight

back when i was bolton only i made 265hp but that was through a TH350 w/ 8" 4000 stall and ford 9" with 4.11. I say your guess is pretty accurate Tony since you arent turnin the the big 9" yet. But i typically ran 12.2 or so at 109mph with 11.9 at 111mph the best so idk wit my mph being a little higher. 280hp... but dynos can be so different so who knows....

haha thanks alot man. yea i kinda wish i would have went a little farther with the bolt on only record chase but they just dropped it so dang low it was like welll damn, going to have to sell everything i own to be able to buy all the bad *** parts ill need... lol so decided to rebuild the lt and put a xfi280 with a set of mild home ported heads. that along with a new powerglide we are hoping for some low 11s. what do you have planned for your bigger and badder build?

 

im not too sure yet to be honest. im still a lil ways off from 11.9x bolt on only so i havent given it that much thought. but i was thinking either just bolt on with a large amount of spray and hope for a high 10 sec pass, or go with a head cam combo from AI. it all really depends on the amount of $$$ i have when the time comes. if i could i would go all out 383 forged bottom end AI head/cam and spray but i mean ur talking big bucks right there

I would guess right around 280whp. I dynoed 330whp with a SS4000 unlocked and my car traps about 112. 112-107 = 5mph ~ 50hp.

Its fun dynoing low and then beating 6 speed cars at the track that dyno a lot higher. lol

old thread but i dynoed 273rwhp and 292rwtq.... it was still rising slowly when the dyno operator cut it off. but im satisfied with the lower numbers, esp when i kill 400rwhp cars at the track
