What do you think broke?

What do you think broke? Went to the track last night and on the 1-2 shift something gave in the drivetrain. I am thinking it is something in the trans and here is why.
1. With the car in gear it doesn't turn the driveshaft when you give it gas.
2. I don't think it is the rear because with the trans in neutral I can't turn the driveshaft by hand. When I broke the rear last time I could turn the driveshaft with the trans in neutral.
I haven't had a chance to really get under the car, it was dark so we just pushed it on the trailer.
What should I start checking for when I have a chance to look at it on Sunday?

trans hi, did it make any weird noises??? i had my transmission pump blow and the car would not go into any gears. i was getting on it and it went to shift from first to second and then it started banging the rev limiter and i had no gears. when it happened my trans made no noises at all. it just would not move or go into any gear. i pulled the trans and it was the pump that blew. maybe you will get lucky and thats all that happened to you.
