That's definitely true. I guess it became easier to share the same engines in the same platform. No, I take that back, it became more economical for GM. Plus, I'd say with the change to the third gen platform packaging the Pontiac engine in a Pontiac might've been a problem. Idk for sure. I mean sure people have shoehorned BBC's in third gen cars but not really packaged with full accessories.
