Default Need help asap!

So my pickup tube fell off my oil pump today while driving. I'm sitting here at advanced auto parts trying to figure out what size pump/pickup tube i have. And which one i should get. Theres 3/4, 5/8 and a high volume, i know i dont need a high volume since i have a stock bottom end and a pretty much stock top end.

So my question is which one do i get? And should i braze my pickup tube to my oil pump? Or do they sell a pump already made like that?

The car is a 94 formula firebird M6, i would do a search but i'm on my phone and that takes wayyyy to long to dick around with, any help woyld be sweet.

You don't need a new pickup or a pump...just have your stock one tacked back on.

Its my DD and my only car, the closest welder or friend with a welder is 45 mins away. I rather just spend the money and get a new pump. I thought about having my friend do it for me. But again risk driving my car 45 mins away or 2 blocks home from advanced with a pump in hand

I am missing something. How will you get to the oil pump with the motor in the car?

To put the pickup on 'correctly' you need to set the depth for your setup. Setting the depth on an engine stand is easy doing it with the engine in the car is not easy. I'm not sure you can even lift the engine enough to get the pickup on the pump.

Wish I knew a way to fix your problem...as for which one you need buy both return the one you don't use or like other person said use the one in there now
