Default Another TB question

I can't find a gasket for the plate on the throttle body anywhere. Think it would ok to use rtv sealant around the plate?

If you get the intake gasket set it comes with a throttle body gasket

It did but not for the upper plate on the TB itself

I wouldn't do it. They are sold on ebay, there are plenty of half assed people on here who will tell you "there is no harm" I prefer to do it right

:/ yea your right. But damnit I have been waiting for 2 weeks to put this back together guess another 6 days wont kill me. I will check NAPA tomorrow and drive to Nashville if they have one.

Or if you still have the old gasket you can find a local place that sells the cork gasket material and you can make one
