LS3 swap in a 97 Camaro

Hi guys, this is my first post here and was looking for some ideas on this swap. I have been searching on this site for the last couple hours and thought I should make a thread. I recently picked up a 97 Camaro Z28 automatic.... the stock motor gave out, so I picked it up pretty cheap. I am a Ford guy so please bare with me. I would like to build a street/strip car nothing too crazy I already have a 8 sec. mustang. I am looking at picking up a LS3 crate motor and putting a cam in it. From what I understand its better to get a cam then their Hot Cam. I also see they sell the computer, pedal, and other misc stuff to make it work. I would like to get your guys opinions along with other stuff that will be needed for the swap. Thanks

Whew lets see here off the top of my head you should need the following,

1) LS K-member
2) 98-02 R&P
3) 98-02 steering whatchamacallit...(brain freeze)...damn steering knuckle
4) Transmission to fit LS3 TH350 / 400 etc.
5) Driveshaft
6) PCM
7) Wiring harness
8) Alot of patience (going to be problems...there always are)

97 Camaro is a OBDII so no problems there but that LS3 will tear that old
GM 10 Bolt up quick, might want to think ahead on that GL.
