Default New Injectors?

I have the stock injectors that came on the 1996 WS-6. I have the mods in my signature.

Will I need to switch them out or will they still handle the power I am making?

How mild is the cam? The only way to tell for sure is to monitor your duty cycle at WOT via scanning.

In reality though, the stockers are probably fine.

unless the edelbrocks flow worse than stock than that is not exactly true, I had 30# SVO injectors running at 80% duty cycle with STOCK heads and a "mild cam"

that's crazy, I was no where near that with my cc503/stock heads combo with 30#SVOs. running the same injectors with my high comp 383 and still not hitting 80%

btw edelbrock heads aren't very good, flow hardly better than stock if at all

As was stated earlier

I would modify his statement slightly and say

The best way to be sure your fuel system is adequate is to check the duty cycle of the injectors running in your car. Cars are different because of fuel pump type, fuel lines, fuel pressure, fuel regulator, etc.

I have seen one car flow high AFGS and another pull much lower yet the car pulling lower AFGS was faster at the track. Too many people try to focus on one number as 'the indicator'...if I must pick one indicator it is track time for me.

Good luck
