Default Which temp sensor?

I'm trying to order a coolant temp sensor online, but it gives me 2 different ACDelco part #s. How do I tell which I need?

There are two different coolant temp sensors - a one-wire sensor for the driver side cylinder head (that drives the dashboard gauge) and a two-wire sensor for the water pump (for the PCM).

One is for the guage one is for the computer. I bought mine at O Reilly's can't remember how much but look at the connector before you go that way you will know when they hand you the correct one. As I remember it is universal from 1986 or 1987 - 1997. Also it already had 'sealent' on the threads so a drop right in and go solution.

Good luck

Before posting, I verified the AC-Delco numbers at the AC-Delco website.

213-310 still shows as correct and 213-928 shows for the applications below (not f-body):

BUICK(3)1993-1995

CHEVROLET(4)1993-1995

BERETTA GTZ(1)1993-1993

BERETTA Z26(1)1994-1994

PONTIAC(9)1993-1995

Weird. The site I'm using might be screwed. Or sometimes, ACDelco Canada differs slightly from the US. Its a pain in the ***.
