Question 92 Crank into a 97?

Will a crank out of a 92 Vette work in a 97 TA? I know the 97 has a crank sensor, but I'm not familiar with the differences in the cranks other than that. Thanks guys.

all small block chevy cranks fit. if it is a one piece rear main seal cranks than it will fit right in, if it is an older crank it requires and adapter for the rear main. So to answer your question yes it will work. The crank reluctor for the crank position sensor just rides on the woodruff key in front of the crank timing gear and has no effect on the crank itself
