just put in new AC delco opti today new icm new coil and new opti harness. my car started up fine after the opti install. i drove it around the block fine. then turned the car off. an hour later i went outside to leave and tried to start my car and it hesitates starting, but after the car warms up there is no trouble starting it. what the hell could the problem be? I will hook up my scanner to it tomorrow to read codes.

 

What kind of fuel pressure do you have??
and is it leaking down when you shut the car off?

 

no codes. I think it might be the plugs and wires they are about a year old and seem to have some corrosion in the wires.

 

when the car is cold, try priming the fuel pump 3-4 times. If it starts up normally after that it could be a fuel issue. Your symptoms are fairly common when it comes to that issue...
