fuel regulator still waitng for my engine block, in the mean time i have a walbro 255 pump and a aeroquip regulator i want to install. can i turn key on and adj regulator to 43psi and thats it?

i had no idea, thats proably why it was givin to me. i want to upgrade my fuelpump im guestamating im gonna have around 400rwhp. will the stock regulator keep the same pressure. what gos wrong
