what are you using to plug the distributor hole? anything thats not custom made?

I just whipped up a plug outta aluminum on the lathe and then just used a aluminum strap and a dizzy stud to hold it in. If you dont find anything else I can prob make another one for you if you want?

I would have quick95lt1 make one for you as I always admired his car and work put into it. I could not rig anything up on the two victor's I have here that would look or work as good as what he fabbed. Im running a carb and distributor anyways or I would have him make me one also. Love that car quick95Lt1!!!!!! big inspiration for me to want to run a solid roller after seeing your results and vid's

I have something similar on mine. Just an aluminum plug pressed in and sealed with RTV. Nothing immediate comes to mind that's not custom.

I plan on runny a dummy dist to ditch the plastic POS oil pump drive gear.

I don't trust the plastic hold down on it, and have seen more then one occasion of it cracking from the upward force.

I had all of that stuff welded and shaved, I have about 100 aluminum circles that fit that hole perfect, just need to have it tig welded.

I run a MSD Part# 8513 in my dist hole to run the oil pump drive. I have an extra brand new one for sale.
