Question

lt1 issue

heres whats happening. the only code im getting is p0400. the car is some what hard to start. but when it does it idles and misses pretty good. if i slowly rev it up it does fine. when i punch it, it acts like is going to die and back fires. but if let off it stays running. any suggestions?

P0400 : EGR Flow Malfunction
Pull off the EGR its probably full of carbon and how is your plugs, coil, and wires?

the car has 227000 miles on it now and i replaced the plugs and wires at 180000.

I would at least look at a few of the plugs and makes sure your wires are in good shape, ohming them out keeps you from having to remove them.
