I have a Mr. Gasket head gasket (5716) i'm about to about to put on for my new heads. One side of the gasket is textured and the other side is smooth. Which side needs to mate with the block? I called the company but the guy said it "shouldn't" matter. The textured side is also raised up a little around the cylinders so it must matter.

I've heard this about the 5716s several times now, and the consensus is that it doesn't really matter.
