th350 Ok guys I am pulling my 4l60-e out after it grenaded last week. This was a preformance built trans by monster transmissions and is my second from them in 2 years and only about 3000 miles total. I am going to get a quote from my new trans guy to rebuild the **** out of this thing but I also NEED a cheaper option due to the fact I am going to be buying another house in a month. What all is invlolved for me to swap over to a th350?
The car is a 97 z-28 with a 383 lt1 with LE2 heads and small cam made for torque. Car runs the 97 lt1 pcm and tune was done by trifecta. What needs to be done to convert if I need to.

trans rebuild kit..depending on what you want 250$ = trans will handle 600hp with this kit

th350 stall you can get used ones cheap..i got a hughs gm4500 stall for 175$ used..i would get a 3600 if i was you.

3spd shifter or in the trans section on here it shows how to mod your stock one to work
also when getting a tq converter make sure you get one that will bolt up to the stock lt1's flex plate. which you want a bolt patern of 10.75 not 11.50
