I remember when that study came out. I talked to the guy via email 10 years ago. He was getting threats about his study and the whistle blowing. It still has a lot of relevance today. Wix still makes the best filters. I don't think they still make the AC Delco filters though. Wix still makes the NAPA filters. Allied Signal has been bought by the same conglomerate that owns TRW, Speedpro, etc. Not much change in the quality of Fram filters.
