I am swapping my car over to a 4L60e. The car is a 96 trans am and is being run by the LS1 pcm 24x conversion.
The trans that I had built was a 1994. I have heard that I need to update the "electronics" inside it to the '96 and newer or it may not work right.
Does anyone know if I need to do this or not? and if I do, what all needs to be changed?
EDIT: yes I know this isnt the auto section, but I figured that the LSX guys wouldnt know since they wouldnt be using a 1994 trans with their cars

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate that info ss.slp
so it looks like I should be good. The car will be tuned with HP tuners so I have all of the necessary tuning tools to change codes. as long as the trans shifts into all gears and TCC works I'll be a happy man!
