Oil filter mount leak?

Oil filter mount leak? My dad rebuilt his LT4. Upon startup, oil pours out of the mount that the oil filter attaches to. He has removed it, checked seal etc, and it still severely leaks oil. What gives? Any info so I can help my old man lol would be appreciated
It could be from as mentioned,or there is a rubber seal on the oil cooler,or the mount where the oil cooler screws onto,there is a paper like gasket between the block and that mount.Hope this helps.
