Default questions about single plane intakes

i am looking to upgrade to a single plane intake and i was wondering if anyone sold them that were already fabricated for an lt1 or who do i need to talk to to get this done? what all extra parts will be required? fuel rails, fuel lines, intake elbow, fuel pressure regulator? thanks for the help

AI can do the conversion and port work and does it all in house. give them a call, they're a little slow with email responses sometimes

At your power level and with those heads/cam, I don't think you need a single plane. It will be alot of expense for a small gain. I'd still stick with a ported stocker.

JMHO, of course.

well i was hoping i woud gain some power naturally aspirated, but the main concern is with nitrous. i want to run a plate kit so it distributes better than the lt1 intake does. is this just a waist of time or should i just get the lt1 intake ported by lloyd?

if you can wait another month ill let you know what numbers it puts down with a 238/246 112lsa cam, LE2s (touched up a little more) and a 200 shot with a single plane

If your planning on 200+ shot, it would be worth it. I have thought about a single plane just for the larger nitrous shot for better distribution. I am kinda nervous to spray mine with the 200 jets on the LT1 intake.

200 wet shot is fine with a single fogger and the max you should try with an Lt1 intake. 250 will melt your rear 2 plugs.

Direct port....sky is the limit...well more of how much can your motor take. Direct port takes out the distribution issues and aloows you to fine tune each cylinder if you want.

Listen to this guy it is very true. The money could be spent better somewhere else. The only reason you would see worth $ gains if you could rev the engine past 7k . Which you cannot with a stock computer and you would also need a SR camshaft. Do you really wanna spend 2-3 grande on an intake that would only gain 15-20Hp? Pill up the bottle for free
