Electric water pump wiring question.

Im capable of wiring it but, from what im seeing. The right side LED needs to have another ignition on hot line there tee'd in off the line going to the pump? Is that correct?

From what ive searched, this diagram will work fine, but im more or less looking for first hand experience more or less i guess, and that it actually works and that the resistors(1k) are right for it to work properly.

P.S Im mid LE2 packaging my car so thats the reason for the question.

Yes it's a hot wire tee'd in from the hot wire to the pump. Make sure you tap in after the fuse or it won't light the LED when the fuse blows.

If you want you can just hardwire the pump to come on when you key up the car. THerefore its on all the time, just install a fuse inline to be safe.

Alright sounds good, i figured thats what all i needed to do, i just wanted to make sure .

Yea i realize that but i want some kind of warning system or something that tells me when the pump fails. Id rather not find out when the temp guage is on the rise haha.
