clutch release point hey guys, i just installed a new Ram Muscle Clutch in my lt1, my clutch used to start grabbing with the pedal half way to the top, now with the new clutch, it doesnt grab untill you just about have the pedal all the way up. is this normal?

Sounds fairly normal to me, every clutch is a little bit different from the next.
As long as the pedal has a little bit of play at the top (before you begin pushing it to the floor), that means there's no load on the hydraulics, which means the clutch is fully engaged.
Another way to tell if the clutch is fully engaged is to get on the expressway, throw it in 6th and floor it. If the motor bogs a bit and the car slowly accelerates you're good. If the RPM's crawl up and the car doesn't accelerate, than youe clutch is slipping and you've got some problems to troubleshoot.
