Topend Rebuild Issue Well I had a valve job done and changed the headgaskets. Also put a new cap and rotor on the opti, opti ran fine before all of this. Added headers, new plugs, and wires.
Car will stumble to crank, onced cranked it will surge but idle. Soon as you give it gas it dies. If I spray a little starting fluid on the intake filter I can rev it to the moon if I wanted, runs fine with starting fluid. Seems like it doesn't get gas when you hit the pedal.
Could my valves be adjusted wrong or something? Possibly installed opti wrong?
Also heard it may have to relearn the idle since the computer has been unplugged for a while.

Make sure you don't have any wires crossed. Even if you think they're right, they might not be. ALWAYS double and triple-check. Also make sure each boot is fully seated onto its respective terminal/plug. Always suspect the parts you changed first. What cap/rotor did you use?
Opti's are temperamental. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
