Default Is this Opti bad? (Pics inside)

My car started missing, and after I replaced the plugs, things were only nominally better.

So, I opened up the Opti and found the following blue "stuff" - Enjoy!

Oh yeah - the Bird runs alot better with a fresh corrosion-free Opti too!

If it runs better with a new opti, you could say your old one was bad without even looking in it, right?

corrosion means there was moisture in it so yes the opti was bad and with that moisture in there it would eventually ruin the optic eye long story short it was on its way out if it looks like that

Definitely got a bit of water in there, seal the next one up and draw a vacuum from the manifold thru it.
