Default optispark install

just wondering what the steps are on how to replace the optispark on my 95 lt1. and do you have to adjust any timing like an oldschool distributor or do you just install the opti and the computer does the work?

Please first check your optispark harness. It may be corroded and is not getting a good connection. I changed my optispark I think 6 times and was to the point of getting rid of my car. Then discovered the optispark harness was the problem the whole time. If no one tells you the steps on how to replace it, I will when I get to my house. A little hard to explain on the iPhone.

Try a search. You'll probably get more hits than you know what to do with.

And no, there is no timing to adjust. Line it up with the dowel pin and you're done.
