Question Headbolt Thread Sealer

I got some ARP bolts and the store didn't carry the ARP Thread sealer, so can I use Permatex Hardening or Non-hardening sealer instead?

Thread sealant is what you want. I've used the Permatex and the ARP with good results.

You need a sealant, not a lube. Something nice and sticky. The ARP thread sealer has teflon in it which is a lubricant.

those above will work and you can even use aircraft sealer
