Default true dual exhaust

Guys my trans am has 3" true duals, x pipe an a set of summit 18" glass packs. Car sounds amazing but its way too loud. How much more noise reduction would i get with moroso spiral flows or a set of spintechs? car has no cats, longtubes and 12.0:1 compression. Reason for having to change to something lil quieter is my neighbors have called the cops on me 4 times in the last 2 weeks since i completed the build.

hmmm classic chambered might be a better way for you to go. you can get them really long and they do help to quiet them down. your best bet however would put in a second muffler in place of the stock muffler. duel in duel out with the bullets. i run a set up like that on my camaro but its a single exhaust. but its nice and quiet.. when i want it to be

the spiralflows really aren't quieter then the bullets, just not as raspy. at least thats my opinion. i would find something with more of a chambered design then a straight thru desigh like you have.

i wasnt saying get rid of your true duel exhaust. just route it in the stock location and put another muffler in line.

I would toss in extra mufflers or put in a chambered 24 inch to bring things down. Cats would also work.

Hey:

I added 2 Moroso spiral flows to my loudmouth and made it a lot less a cop magnet even went to Mrytle Beach with it and they have some of the most strict noise laws in the US. But I have cats also, they work pretty good when you get on it, but pretty quiet when not.
