need some help. ok heres the problem my dad has a 95' vette and wants me to do a tune up when he gets the parts but doesnt know what parts to get. i need recomendations on a good opti for him a some good plugs his car is pretty much stock with exception of k/n and cat-back.
For plugs I like to use Autolite I think they are 106's. Autolites make a good plug but others find NGK to be good.
While you are changing the cap and rotor on opti I would put a new water pump on it.

Like he said earlier plugs (ngk tr55 are good ones) wires (msd 8.5 mm) Msd Cap and rotor for the opti. Get a fuel filter too. And do your very best to remove the water pump without getting the opti wet! Take out the knock sensor to drain the block first if you want to be sure. Water will cause instant death to the opti, so if it looks like it has been leaking out of the weep hole change the water pump.
the car has low miles but today when we went to start it to move it it just cranked when i pulled a plug it was shot so he wants me to give it a tune up. but i had heard it is hard to find a good opti replacement, and wasnt sure what plugs would be best since i run br7's in my ls1.
