Default Help with an optispark

I'm posting this thread because people stopped replying to my other one and I need input. My LT1 has a problem where it cuts out in the heat, and only cranks for 15-20 mins. My next guess is the optispark. I got a DTC 16 code when i scanned it stating a low resolution pulse from the opti. Also got a DTC22 stating low voltage to the TPS. Which i doubt is the problem, but im going to look into it. I need opinions before I continue throwing useless parts at it.

P.S the previous owner did an opti change in 07', and what did he use besides, the junky, garbage POS-

...Accel

Try a Chandler Motorsports Opti. $114 shipped and people seem to have good luck with it. Regardless, you're gonna be changing it soon

Throughly check out your engine and opti wiring harnesss'!! take a long *** flat head driver and un clip opti harness from opti ,take a flash light and shine down in opti connection hole and look for arcing,corrosion,ect... check tps,iac,ect... connectors for spltis/shorts where wire pins in to top of male connector plugs
