Default Car is sputtering around

Ok, so in the last few days, my car has been running really rough. When i would start accelerating it would bog down and not go untill I pushed the gas down farther and then it would take off. Then, when I get to a light and stop, it idles really rough and shakes the whole car and almost dies. I thought it was the fuel filter so i replaced it but it still happens. I have refilled the car with 93 octane like i always do, so it couldnt be bad gas. Let me know if you have any ideas on what it could be.

Thanks,
Derek

When that happened to my car it was was EGR valve that was getting stuck from all the carbon. There is a bunch of stuff that can make what you described happen.

Well i actually junked the whole egr/air system and put on block off plates so i dont think that is what is causing it.
