heres whats happening. theres no codes. its a 96 z28. before it stopped running it back fired out the tailpipe. and would only idle and rev up slow. but i would goose it and it would bog down and nearly die until i let off causing it to back fire like a stick of dynomite. i had spilt coolant on the opti from trying to perform the tb bypass and broke the plastic vacuum line. i repaired the line before starting. and i drove it a mile down the road after a mild burnout, then all hell started.i have replaced the icm and the opti. nothing has changed.
i tried to start it, all it would do is turn over and over. but when i let off the starter, its started to deisel a bit. it seemed like it would fire on one cylinder and spin a couple of times then fire on another. could a vacuum leak cause this or did my car jump time when i did the burnout.

Those are your EVAP hoses. Replace them, but that won't prevent your car from starting.
Get a hold of a fuel pressure gauge and check your fuel pressure. If it's not the opti, the only thing I can think of is that your pump took a crap.
Also a new coil is cheap, won't hurt to try a new one.

I would check your wires and plugs try starting it in the dark and see if you see any sparking under the hood, If you see arching in the wires then that is your problem
