Cool Oil pump drive

So I started reassembling my engine to go back in my car and the stupid plastic oil pump dive is cracked. Anyone know where i can get 1? My local dealer is expensive and they take forever to get me parts. Think I can get it at an autoparts store?

They dont have them in the parts houses. Only oprions are dealer, ebay or used section on a message board. Herron has an aluminum one but it is big bucks.

That brings up a good question. The first few posters assumed you meant the part that bolts in the back of the lifter valley.
SS RRR posted another part of the drive.

Which part do you need?? The part SS RRR posted is available for half that price from Melling and I bet every parts store in existence has something like it that would work since it is just a Chevy part used on millions of engines over the years.

Good point, I automatically assumed the part in question was the plastic tab bolted in the lifter valley that tends to break near the bolt.

Cool

I don't need the oil pump shaft or the plastic retainer I need the oil pump drive. Its the plastic piece that bolts on top of the lifter galley and connects to the oil pump shaft. The blastic piece that the retainer bolt goes through is broken.
