need help... LT1 loading up Alright, I need some help with this one. I swapped a '96 LT1 into a 1946 Chevy pickup. It is running pretty much stock as of now. I sent the computer to Speartech to program out VATS and had them build a stand alone wiring harness for a streetrod application. Everything is hooked up and was running fine. I will say the motor has been sitting with no more than the occasional start to keep things moving. Well I'm at the end of my truck build, and now it seems that cylinder #4 and #8 are loading up bad. I have determined this because I put a infared thermometer on the headers and those two cylinders are running hotter than the rest. Plus plugs on those cylinders were fouled. I have dual exhaust, and it sounds good on drivers side but loads up bad on passenger side and backfires if you get into it. I tested fuel pressure, and it is good. I tripple-checked plug wire routing and it is correct. Wires are also new. I am running the stock opti. I changed all the plugs. It still ran like crap. I then swapped out those two injectors thinking they were gummed up from sitting. Still runs like crap and gets hot on those two cylinders. I have a code reader, and I have no codes in computer. What is the problem. I need help!

Update Ok, so here is the update of what went wrong. I finally got an expensive code reader that gives live data from the computer and my O2's were reading off the charts, one lean and one rich. My fuel trim was -38 on one rail and +50 on the other rail! I was at the end of my rope with this thing when I sent an email to the guy that built the harness and re-programed my computer. Sent him the data. Turns out he built the harness with the passenger side O2 running to the drivers side and vice versa! Needless to say, I spent countless hours and and a new set of plugs and a new opti all for not. Oh well. At least it runs right now.
